O’Donovans and Donovans worldwide are invited to join our upcoming Clan Gathering, scheduled for 14-18 June, 2023, in Bantry, Co. Cork!
Celebrate the spirit of fellowship and connection that only an in-person Gathering can provide: O’Donovans meeting and getting to know each other informally; creating bonds that will carry forward into the future!
Details of the Gathering:
When: Events will take place from Wednesday through Sunday, 14-18 June, 2023. Mark your Calendar now!
Where: Bantry, West Cork, Ireland – HQ at The Maritime Hotel, Bantry town.
What: A Celebration of O’Donovans Worldwide, with the theme: “Celebrating O’Donovan Stories”. We’ll share our family stories and those of our foremothers and forefathers, explore O’Donovan history and West Cork’s amazing landscapes, and enjoy the company of kinswomen and kinsmen from around the world.
Due to the effects of the pandemic, as well as capacity issues, the 2023 Gathering will be limited to under 200 Registrants.
Registration is now open! Fees for the month of June are: Adults: $33 US, Youth aged 12-18: $14, Under 12: Free. Includes contribution to Gathering costs, admission to all lectures, tour of West Cork Heritage Centre, and an O’Donovan lapel pin.
Add-on Meal Events are priced separately. They include an outdoor barbecue, clan banquet with music, and a farewell Sunday brunch.
Registration will close on June 10, 2023. Gathering news will be announced on our website, the Facebook pages, our ProBoards site and via Email to our Mailing List.
Those who registered for the cancelled 2020 Gathering can transfer Registration to the 2023 event, or can request a refund.
